Moving on out....
and yes we purchased 2 acres in Waddell house plans in the works!
and yes FINALLY after 7 months we have our first eggs from our illegal girls...
Really almost 3 years have gone by....
Dad has passed onto heaven Sept 7th, 2017, sure do miss him! Mom is here with us now in Surprise Memory Care, my life has added every other day trips to see her. She is better but not here as far as memory, does she know who i am .....only she knows.
She has improved immensely since she has arrived in the last 3 months going from 72pds to 92lbs still walking talking and able to feed her self. Stays in her room a bit too much but well that is Mom she is not a social gal by any means. Still loves those blueberry muffins which i supply on a regular basis.

Well and there you have it 6 months has gone by........
School is out got straight A's -YEAH!! Signed up for fall classes.
Still working at Elgin-learning alot and do enjoy it even though i have a new "young" assistant for the summer months.
Garden is in and producing tomatoes and almost ready for the next season-fall planting!
Exile & Marnie and the kids doing much better he is back working so is Marnie. Wish they lived closer by so we could see each other more-will keep pushing to get over there at least once a month.
Maggie's nose after 6 months of different meds i think - i hope- has finally recouped and is better. Though last month she got her tail caught in the door and it looks a little tweaked we still love her to death!
Went on a 12day road trip thru NM/TX/LA/AR/MO/KS with the knob-she adapted really well to our new little rooms every night and drives during the day. Saw Mom & Dad briefly...out chased a tornado and found Fredericksburg TX love that town maybe someday even move there....
Time flys by :)

It's coming 2015! WOW! This picture says it all time just slipping away. Finished last semester with straight A's except for George Hulls Urban Plant Id class. Very disappointing...on a brighter note i got a partime job!
Will be meeting with Jonathan on 1/3/2015 Elgin Nursery a whopping 8.50 an hour..can't remember when i only made that much..lol but the experience will make up for the hourly rate plus free use of their heated greenhouse. Here's to growing in 2015!

Almost 3 months have passed by...
Way to busy with class at MCC and life! I have not entered a picture or anything since March, how am i supposed to remember all i have done if I don't write it down...suppose i need to remember that first.
Sooo what has happened since March:
Both garden were planted for spring, tomaotes are not as abundant as they were last year. Not sure what the issue has been, it has been a very dry spring no rain and no humidity. Have had a lot of blossom drop and even some plants just up and die. I rotate every year between the three gardens? Once the potatoes are done and the melons and squash plan on turning the first plot and possible put in a cover crop. Problem is i will have tomatoe starters ready to go in August...
School is over until fall took the following classes:
Irrigation Design- B+
Soil Science- B
Plant Biology- A+
Would have been wonderful to have straight a's...but it has been a long time since i hae been to school and well college even. This fall i have signed up for 4 classes...am hoping i can carry a B+ or better thru all of them.
Landscape Design
Grounds Mgt
Urban Plant care & ID
Indoor Foliage Plants
Let's hope that it is not too much of a load as i still need to play in the dirt as well as continue to push for Maggie May Kookies!
And we made it official in the eyes of the state on 4/1/2014 and got "hitched"..lol never thought i would do that again huh!

Thyme were does it grow....
Time is just disappearing...it is already Feb 13 the day before valentine's!
So much has happened since my last post but then yet so little.
Something pretty to look at to cheer me up! Robert's car was totalled but no one was hurt . had to buy another car...mmm was not in the budget. Mom is getting worse.....i know it is going to happen but i am having to make myself call her as i never know what her reaction will be. I sure hope Daddy is doing ok i worry about him. I got a 72 :( on my first test on Plant Biology...i am revamping on how i study and take notes with the expectations of getting 100 on the next one. I knew 5 of the 10 i missed and marked them wrong? why? i think i stress out and don't focus...don't tell me this is the beginning of my demise of where Mom is at now. It worries me...
Now onto gardenening well that has also taken a turn for the worse. Is it me..maybe i need to be more open. Rich, Scott and Jon will be on the board after this meeting on Saturday i am sure of that. He does have great enthusiam and some great ideas...some that have already been researched and not come to fruitation as it was not possible once the research was done. He does not do research...comes off half cocked and argumentative. I hate argueing can not deal with it and my decide my time as a garden coordinator is done. In reality i should spend all the time i do at the garden when i don't tend to our garden focusing on finding our own "garden" or my own community garden. It is almost like the principle of working for others verus yourself. Well we shall see what happens on Saturday he has stopped emailing me as i pissed him off i am now "excluded".
Uncle Paul passed away 2 weeks ago. Robert and Kristi just got back from Minnesota...burrs! Poor Robert going from -40 to 85. and he is in bed sick. Hopefully as i am typing he is feeling better.
Let's hope the news gets better...tax appointment tonight. Am hoping for no more surprises....except a good one.

Sun is shining....
and here is sit...in front of the idiot box! Should be hanging out at the garden in the sunshine 78 degree weather. I will miss it when it is 120 and i am dying! What can i say...homework...part of college. Made it thru the first week of classes
Irrigation by Design
Plant Growth Development
Soil Structure
at least they are about the garden!
Talked with Dad this week the most in several years except when i go there for a visit. Mom has diagnosed with dementia / short term memory loss. Not that this is new news but it is to Dad. I just hope in another 10 years if it comes to that for me there is a cure. Until then whatever we can do to help out we will. What a way to end the week as i was typing this i heard a "crash" then alarms....Robert's car got hit. It was parked in the street a 16yr old driver apparently was looking for his glasses did not notice Robert's car hit the gas in panic versus the brakes BAM! moved the car like 50ft. Not sure if the BMW will recover from this one will wait and see what the shop says. Onto a new week :)

Good work day at the garden...
Pulled up the peppers all like 30 plants..lol and found earthworms in piles and herds!
Pulled up green beans they bit it just when they had started putting our beans. Left the tomatoes they got bit by the frost but still feel ok. Trimmed down the eggplants and tucked them in for the long winter rest with the hopes they come back in the spring.
Pulled up the morning glories, ok they were beautiful but i may regret this one the seed pods bust open before i pulled them...i didn't save any seeds probably should have but there is like 2000 seeds left in the ground. Redid both the signs moved one grape still need to move the remaining dirt and then will move that grape. Found the 2 gopher holes but no peanut butter at the garden so will have to go back. Rich Uyen Karen and Scott stopped by was nice to visit even with Rich. Tyler spent 3 hours - Scotts son- moving walkway material- YEAH!!! - and he plans on putting in another 10 or 15 hours more doing it...more YEAH!!!
Well need to review garden design and decide what or if planting anything and where for the spring and immediatley for the pepper area that is now empty..except for all the worms.
Tyler had a great time throwing the ball for Maggie maybe just maybe this will help with her "children fears" and he wore her out.
This morning planted tomatoe and pepper seeds- first round- doing another planting after we get back from California the beginning of January.
Done for the day exhausted- off to the shower!

The end of the Journey....
Well today is my last class turned in my class project last week i hope i get a good grade! I would love to have this backyard, we were supposed to do only a "garden" but to me the garden is your yard :) at least if you don't have a Ms Maggie who gets mad when you leave and pulls up plants...why oh why...she even knows she shouldn't have done it and yet....she still does....vengeance
