first day of class....

Today was first day of my "Master Gardener Class" love the symbol on the book! Was very informative think i will like it, now i will have the book sense with all the dirt sense i already have.
The cauliflower popped up yesterday along with the red & green cabbage and romanesco-taking the longest-planted broccoli seeds today. Tomatoes are pretty much ready though i wish i had some milk carton jugs to put over them for wind protection as well as temperature fluctuations with the monsoons. They are trying so hard to come and visit us on the west side maybe tonight. I washed the car yesterday looked promising but atlas no rain or even dust blowing. It sure has changed over the last 35 years. Used to get the most wicked storms loss power rain pouring down flooding streets. Now if it rains it is a blessing. I used to re shingle that roof on Minnezona every summer 10 or 12 times bought a house with concrete tiles 12yrs ago the last good storm we had was 11 years ago, go fiquire.
